MULTIMEDIA

~ Swimming and Streaming Against the Current Sea ~

Welcome to the 21st century... and the advent of the "Church of youtube".  Of course, youtube was hardly created as a religious platform; nevertheless, people in our day tend to congregate in front of their monitors, tablets, and phones—for direction, inspiration, entertainment, and even quasi-social interaction—more than anyplace else.

Let's face it; given the proliferation of video content and the versatility of content, we are far more likely to look up a video tutorial rather than reading an instruction manual or consulting a local expert.

The problem, however, is that searching for right content can often be compared to sifting through a lost-and-found container or recycling bin—while being forced to endure countless infomercial snippets in the process.

While the ability to communicate powerful ideas by means of voice, music, text, and images through video has become commonplace, it's also become increasingly difficult to find quality and profound information in a sea of chaos.  The information age has left us saturated and mentally overwhelmed—perhaps even disoriented—by high volume streams of low quality content.  Furthermore, the flavor and direction of public discourse is all too often controlled by the guy holding the loudest microphone, which is ultimately powered—and funded—by an infestation of advertisements. Finally, in conjunction with commercial bombardments, internet search tools and platforms are constantly changing and often becoming less reliable in their seek-and-find functions and their impartial presentation of content, with many videos and content creators being "shadow banned", flagged, or blocked under the guise of public protection or content ownership disputes—simply because the information is challenging or contrary to the establishment's narrative.

To this end, this central "multimedia" hub page was created—to centralize streams of audio/video Tabernacle content independently of third party platforms and search engines, and to offer a platform for accessing information without massive influence from corporate currency.
